Before watching the video, I asked my pupils if they knew that 20 years ago on the coast of Galicia there was one of the biggest ecological disasters suffered in Spain, if not the biggest, occurred when an oil tanker sank off its coast.
None of them had heard of that great disaster. Then we watched the video about this.
Dificultades encontradas y resultados finales.
I have not found great difficulties, because the video was in their mother tongue. Although they didn’t understand why the captain of the ship did not move away from the coast before, if there was a storm and a great risk of a serious accident, in which a large number of fish and other marine animals would die when the oil spilled.
Evaluación.
